Tetrabromophthalic anhydride is an important flame retardant. It has a wide range of applications. As a reactive flame retardant, it can be used for polyester, unsaturated polyester, epoxy resin and other flame retardant.
As an additive flame retardant, in combination with antimony trioxide, it can be applied to polystyrene, polypropylene, polyethylene and ABS resins.
